Approach

I believe in a flexible approach to therapy because each client is unique and has different treatment needs. My extensive experience and training gives me the tools to treat patients using psychodynamic, cognitive/behavioral and humanistic therapies, as well as teaching stress management techniques.

Specialty Areas of Therapy

  • CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) is a short and well-structured fact based approach to combating the physical and emotional symptoms of insomnia. This approach works by connecting ways we think and behaviors we exhibit to the ways we sleep. CBT-I is usually effective in improving the quality of sleep over a period of 4 to 8 sessions although it varies by each individual's needs.
